Methodology
How we build city pages, surface local context, and show a call path when coverage exists — without pretending to be your contractor or 911.
Local pages
DryCalm publishes ZIP and city pages for water damage guidance across the United States. Titles, FAQs, and context blocks are generated from place data (city, state, ZIP) plus estimated flood, housing, and climate notes. We do not claim to be “#1” in every market.
Weather and flood context
When available, pages may show active alerts, flood-risk summaries, or recent precipitation from sourced public datasets (for example NOAA / FEMA-derived layers). These are context only — not a formal flood determination for insurance or lending.
Call routing
After you enter a ZIP and problem type, we check partner coverage. If a campaign covers that ZIP, we show a tracking number. Contractors are independent. DryCalm may be compensated for connections. Always verify license and insurance before hiring.
What we are not
- Not emergency services — call 911 if anyone is in danger
- Not a free quote marketplace or price guarantee
- Not a warranty of any contractor’s work
